Most Worshipful Grand Master, 1995-1996

Dale C. Edwards was born on July 18, 1936 in Dearborn, Michigan. He attended Dearborn Schools, and graduated from Fordson High School. He graduated from the University of Detroit with a Bachelor in Business Administration majoring in Finance. He was initiated in Dearborn DeMolay in 1950. He held several offices and served as Master Councilor in 1953. He married Judy Kapczi on June 1, 1957. They were blessed with two daughters. He was employed by the Ford Motor Company for over thirty years and held computer operations, supervisory and administrative positions with the Computer Processing Department.

He was raised as a Master Mason in Northwestern Lodge on March 14, 1958 with his father presiding. In 1982 he became an officer of Northwestern Lodge, and was installed Worshipful Master in 1988 and in 1989. He was elected Mason of the Year in Northwestern Lodge in 1989. In that same year, he served as President of the Masonic Masters Association. He is a member of Northville Lodge No. 186, a member of the Michigan Lodge of Research and Information No. 1, and is a charter member of Britannia Lodge No. 601, and holds honorary memberships in Dearborn Lodge No. 172, Lake City Lodge No. 408, Ortonville Lodge No. 339, and Mid-Michigan High Twelve No. 601.

He is also a member of the Valley of Detroit, Scottish Rite, where he has participated in degree presentations; Noble in Moslem Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S.; Aries Grotto, M.O.V.P.E.R.; Union Chapter No. 55 R.A.M.; Northville Council No. 30, R.& S.M.; Northville Commandery No. 39, K.T.; Michigan College S.R.C.I.F.; York Rite College; Crusader Council, A.M.D.; Detroit Chapter No. 1. National Sojourners; Past Patron, Orient Chapter No. 77. O.E.S. He was named an Active Legion of Honor recipient by the International Supreme Council of DeMolay. He was also elected by the Supreme Assembly of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls to receive the Grand Cross of Color.

He was installed as the Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons in Michigan on May 27, 1995.

He died March 4, 2007.
